Exciting changes for earthworks’ annual directory
Market research and the desire to innovate has prompted an overhaul of earthworks’ annual product directory for the property and construction industry, published every December-January.
2016 marks the sixth year of publication for earthworks and has seen the magazine receive several accolades: an honourable mention in feature of the year category of the Trade Association Business Publishers International Awards (TAPBI) as well as runner up for publication of the year and joint runner up feature of the year in the SA Property Owners’ Association (SAPOA) Journalism Awards for Excellence.
Instead of resting on our laurels though, we conducted a survey to ensure continuing improvement in our product, starting with the annual directory, which this year for the first time will include services along with products relevant to property and construction.
For the first time too, we will draw all entries from the 4684 pages across 34 issues produced to date, combining editorial content on carefully selected products and services that are active in this industry with advertorial and advertising on relevant products and services.
Being a print product, space is limited so we will reach as far back as possible while adding additional information such as independent sustainability certifications or accreditations where applicable.
We trust that this “earthworks proud” directory will be a compact, useful and trusted reference guide for professionals in property and construction, especially those who share our goal of promoting sustainability in the built environment.
